Plot: Los Angeles, circa 1920‘s, a little immigrant girl finds herself in a hospital recovering from a fall. She strikes up a friendship with a bedridden man who captivates her with a whimsical story that removes her far from the hospital doldrums into the exotic landscapes of her imagination. Making sure he keeps the girl interested in the story he interweaves her family and people she likes from the hospital into his tale.
Character Description: Roy Walker is a stuntman in the hospital after falling off a horse and breaking his legs. He is worried he may never walk again and his life will be over. When he meets Alexandra, he makes a deal with her to tell her a story if she, who can walk around the hospital freely, will get him a bottle of morphine. He plans to overdose and kill himself if he's paralyzed.

Character Description: A young American buisnessman, Thomas Crane came to Shanghai to study under and learn from Jackson, who was highly praised by Tom's father. Tom tries to look out for Jackson and his reputation, but much to Tom's disappointment Jackson is neither interested in teaching nor Tom's warnings.

SOLDIER'S GIRL (2003)

Plot: A group of soldiers in the deep South take vengeance against one of their own when word circulates that he's become involved with a transgendered nightclub performer in this drama based on a true story. Barry Winchell was a young man with an educational disability who volunteered for the United States Army and found himself stationed in Tennessee, where he soon struck up a friendship with Justin Fisher (Shawn Hatosy), a high-strung fellow GI with a drug problem. One night with nothing to do, Winchell and Fisher tagged along with a group of soldiers who ended up taking in a drag show at a bar in Nashville. One of the performers on the bill that night was Calpernia Addams, a transsexual and former combat medic in the Navy who was a veteran of the Gulf War before taking the first steps towards sexual reassignment. While Winchell, who was straight, was aware that Addams was at least partially still male, he found himself attracted to her for her intelligence and sensitivity, while she found herself similarly drawn to him. As Winchell and Addams' mutual attraction grew into a romance, the unstable Fisher found himself increasingly confused and angry with Winchell, and he struck back by spreading rumors that one of the men in their company was gay, with fingers soon pointing towards Winchell. Despite the Army's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, the company's drill sergeant took it upon himself to find and remove the gay soldier in his ranks, while the increasingly vicious Fisher aligned himself with Calvin Glover, a young and narrow minded recruit eager to strike out with violence against those different from himself.

Plot: Set against the backdrop of Niagara Falls, Wonderfalls is a quirky one-hour family dramedy about an underachieving twenty-something retail clerk named Jaye Tyler. Her life is forever changed when inanimate figures – including toys, cartoons and anything with an animal face, begin to talk to her. In each episode, the creatures' cryptic messages set into motion a chain of unpredictable events that invariably lead Jaye into the lives of others in need. Jaye discovers that the world around her is a magical place and that the seemingly random events in her life are actually all part of something much greater.
Character Description: Aaron Tyler, Jaye's older brother, lives at home while earning his doctorate in Comparative Religion. He is an atheist but begins to question his beliefs, or lack there of, when he discovers that inanimate objects talk to his sister.
